Abstract:
Based on a hydrodynamic numerical model in Changle Zhanggang Sea area,the 10-day drifting path of the planktonic larvae of Coelomactra antiquata before and after the reclamation were simulated,and the impaction on seed resources distribution of C. antiquata was evaluated.As the results revealed,the planktonic larvae would attach around the bay entrance and distribute in a larger space after 10-day drifting before reclamation,and after reclamation in contrast,the final attachment location of the planktonic larvae would drift almost in a smaller space and away from the bay.The reclamation in Waiwenwu Bay has a significant influence on planktonic larvae’s drifting path and distribution before they grow into shellfish,and could be one factor for the changes of C. antiquata distribution patterns outside the reclamation area.
